The Direct Payment rate has been increased by Scottish Borders Council from £11.96 per hour to £12.20 per hour with effect from Monday 19th April 2010.  This is the amount of money that is paid to individuals who are in receipt of a Direct Payment by the local authority.
 
 
If any client becomes aware that they are not receiving their Direct Payments at the correct rate, please do not hesitate to contact us at the office on 01896 759700.  With this in mind, we would remind all clients who receive a Direct Payment to let us have their Direct Payment Bank Account statements on a regular basis, so we can check they are being paid the right amount.
