Direct Payments Representative Group
Below we have a few words from people who have volunteered to represent Direct Payment users on the Representative Group.
If you have any issues you would like to take up, please contact the office, and we will pass the information on to whichever person you choose.
 
Ken Totney – I represent people with visual impairment on the Working Group Committee. I live in Eyemouth and I have been using the Direct Payment scheme since February 2001. I would be happy to help anyone with any issues regarding visual impairment for me to take up at future Working Group Committee meetings.
 
Fiona McCall – I am the mental health representative on the Working Group Committee. I live in Eccles and I started using Direct Payments scheme in February 2003. I am willing to take up any issues regarding mental health that anyone may have at future Working Group meetings.
 
Margaret Simpson – I reside in St Boswells and I have been on Direct Payments since March 2002. I raise issues on physical disabilities at the Working Group Committee meetings and I am always on the lookout for issues to raise at future committee meetings
 
Fiona Hewitt – I live in Eyemouth and have been a user of the Direct Payments scheme since May 2001.
